Your Task

Your task, as a group, is to create a visually appealing and informative poster entitled "_______________ IMMIGRATION, 1850-1920."  Your poster should incorporate the following:  

               Required:
                        -a map showing where your immigrant group came from
                        -another map showing where these immigrants settled in the U.S.
                        -a graph showing decade-by-decade immigration totals between 1850 and 1920 (use the graph sheet that has been provided)
                        -a chart showing both the "push" and "pull" reasons this group emigrated to the U.S.
                        -a map of where this group settled within the Chicago area and a list of the types of occupations this group went into here
                        -an annotated bibliogrpahy which lists all the sources used while researching your immigrant group

               Suggested:
                         -visual images that represent your group (flags, national costumes, etc.)
                         -images of how your group was portrayed in the U.S. (cartoons, caricatures, etc.)
                         -notable quotes about your group
                         -anything else that would enhance the appearance and educational value of your poster
