General Background and Keywords
As you work on your project, create a list of Keywords to help focus your research.
Include the names of important people, places and events/issues.
Also, check general background information and generate keywords by looking at:
- Encyclopedia Britannica Online; - has links to other recommended web sites;
- World Book Encyclopedia Advanced or for Students
- Wikipedia (follow the links and footnote sources).
You may also find some information in these easier to read sources:
- World Book Encyclopedia for Students (a more simple version) or
- Simple English Wikipedia.
"Teenager" is a relatively new concept
You can look for newspaper articles from the time when your person was alive in the ProQuest Historical Newspaper database. The picture below shows results of a seach on "teenagers".
